Smart Servers
Smart Servers combine the best of the cloud with the best of traditional dedicated servers, for customers with applications that demand high performance. Using a thin virtualization layer and pass-through technology, Smart Servers offer the automated provisioning, scaling and failover of a cloud server.

Bare Metal Servers
Nurved can also provision bare metal servers in your infrastructure, enabling customers to run whatever OS and applications they need directly on the hardware. Bare metal servers are provisioned automatically from the pool of hardware managed by Nurvedcloud.

Load Balancers
Nurvedcloud can load balance automatically across specific virtual servers and smart servers. You can create load balanced clusters with just a few clicks, specifying which servers will participate in a load balancer cluster, and have incoming traffic distributed between them. A similar approach is also used for auto-scaling servers out. Load balancing is powered by Loadbalancer.org technology

Storage
Nurvedcloud includes a high-performance distributed SAN (Nurved Storage) which gives exceptional local performance but keeping maximum failover capabilities. Our backend iSCSI SANs provide exceptional performance where large non-transactional storage is needed.

CDN
Nurvedcloud enables you to create wide range of application and content delivery services for static and streaming content. You can create private CDNs across your own infrastructure; a complete global CDN using capacity from our CDN Partner federation; or a hybrid service that bursts from your infrastructure into our global network, whenever you need more capacity.

Templates
Nurvedcloud gives you access to a huge library of templates for virtual server and smart server appliances running on Linux, Windows and FreeBSD. A template is a pre-configured operating system environment that deploys automatically, and you can also customize and create your own. Nurvedcloud is also compatible with the JumpBox library of Open Source virtual appliances.

Recipes
Creating a Recipe brings new levels of efficiency, automation and customization to your IaaS environment. A recipe is a set of instructions that can be applied automatically to virtual servers, bare metal servers, smart servers, entire groups of servers and the Nurvecloud control panel, during provisioning or during operation.

You can use recipes to tweak a configuration, prepare a server, deploy custom templates without development, install apps and patches, and combine them with templates to automated SaaS and PaaS deployment.

Recipes can be created easily using standard languages and shells such as Perl, Bash and PowerShell.
